    18:30 - 20:30
The telecoms market is in a period of transition both in the UK and across Europe, with the Ofcom Strategic Review and wider concerns around consolidation and convergence prompting a change in policy towards the industry. With the growing importance of digital in the modern world this is a critical issue for continued success in the 21st century. This lecture will explore how these pressures can be used to drive a shift towards a more competitive telecoms market, and how this will affect the way in which the industry works.

Speaker: Kai-Uwe Kuhn, Professor of Economics, University of East Anglia

Respondent: Benjamin Wreschner, Head of Regulatory Economics, Vodafone Group
