Mark Littlewood appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live to discuss the living wage.

If the minimum wage were to go up, or a living wage adopted, it could dramatically increase unemployment. It is more important to tackle the cost of living, if we reduce the cost of housing and energy then everyone benefits. However, if an employer cannot afford to hire someone because the minimum wage is too high, then someone who otherwise could have found work remains unemployed.
