Mark Littlewood argues in favour of a relaxation of Sunday trading laws, saying that in a modern society it is ridiculous that it is a crime to sell a loaf of bread on a Sunday evening in certain stores.

He also discussed the positive economic benefits . The UK's retail sector has been very flat for the last couple of years and allowing people to trade on a Sunday would generate considerably more employment.
