Charities shouldn't fund political campaigns with public money

The IEA is featured the Daily Mail

The IEA has featured in an article by the Daily Mail, in relation to new proposals following concerns that charities have used millions of pounds from the taxpayer to fund political campaigns. 

The article refers to a recent IEA publication The Sock Doctrine, which calls for new rules to be implemented, ensuring that public funding is conditional on it not being used to lobby government. The research revealed the extent to which public money had been spent to enable government to lobby itself.
