Steve Davies appeared on BBC Radio 4's The World Tonight programme to discuss trade unions in light of the Grangemouth dispute. Steve argued that there is not a conflict of interest between workers and employers as companies compete for good employment, thus mistreating the workforce only damages the company. Steve argued that trade unions still have useful functions however, raising wages is not one of them, something that is achieved through high productivity.
