Cuts to the arts are not detrimental to society

Mark Littlewood talks to Radio 4's PM Programme

 

Mark Littlewood appeared on BBC Radio 4’s PM show to discuss cuts to arts and culture.

He argued that the arts should be a flourishing but private activity, and the assertion that arts subsidies would allow the impoverished to attend the English National Opera or the National Theatre simply is not backed up by the facts.
