Philip Booth appeared on BBC Radio 4's Moral Maze programme to discuss the social responsibility of business. Philip argued that businesses have a responsibility to make profits for shareholders, which they do by providing goods and services for consumers. Furthermore, Philip argued that businesses should follow moral and ethical standards, however this does not mean that companies have a generalised social obligation to solve social problems.
