As European leaders meet to discuss measures to tackle the EU debt crisis, Prof Philip Booth, IEA Editorial Director, speaks to BBC Radio Manchester's Andy Crane programme and says that the solutions proposed merely amount to repackaging debt and passing it around. Greece, he says, should be allowed to default and then there should be a proper discussion about the future of the euro.
