Football has been made better by its commercialisation

Mark Littlewood appears on BBC Radio Five Live

IEA Director General Mark Littlewood was given the last word on BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast. He argued that the influence of Rupert Murdoch, Sky Media and footballs commercialisation has increased the quality of the sport. In particular, he commented that high ticket prices are a sign of sucess, and popularity, of these clubs and that commercialisation has led to a more popular, pleasant and sucessful industry.
