Government must address the cost of living

Ruth Porter appears on Newsnight

Ruth Porter appeared on Newsnight to dicuss the impact of the Autumn Statement. She argued that the Chancellor has failed to address key cost of living issues, such as the affordability of housing. Ruth also expressed concern at the unfair protection of pensioners' benefits and discussed how central government could save money by abolishing departments such as BIS.
