Government should pursue supply-side policies to curb borrowing

Philip Booth discussed the latest borrowing figures: a £600mn deficit for July. He discussed how the government is deliberately pursuing policies which are increasing energy costs, failing to liberalise planning and not acting rapidly enough with regard to labour market regulation.

The Coalition needs to take a close look at these policies and reverse them.
