Kristian Niemietz appeared on BBC WM to discuss the affordable housing crisis. Kristian argued that the housing crisis is a supply side problem, which has led to average house prices five times the average annual income. Kristian argued that the supply issue is due to highly restrictive planning laws as well as residential opposition to development.
