I’m a tax dodger. I have not been as successful or as smart at avoiding tax as Jimmy Carr, but I’m learning a little more every day and am quite pleased with how I have honed my skills in recent months.

My determination to avoid tax is a fairly new phenomenon. In my twenties and thirties I was really only earning enough to make ends meet and felt that old age was so far away that I could live for today rather than save for tomorrow.

Having now just entered my forties – and given that I also have a pretty decent income - I’ve started to take a much greater interest in how I organise my finances to the maximum benefit of myself and my family.
