As the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee prepares to meet, Prof Kent Matthews, Prof of Finance and Banking at Cardiff Business School, and member of the IEA's Shadow Monetary Policy Committee, joins a debate on BBC Radio 5 Live's Tony Livesey show and argues that interest rates must go up by half a percentage point immediately in order to signal that the Bank of England is taking inflation seriously.
