Liberalisation of planning laws is needed

Mark Littlewood appeared on BBC Five Live to discuss the Spare Room Subsidy and affordable housing. Mark stated that the Spare Room Subsidy was based on good principle, to get those on housing benefits to economise the amount of housing space they are taking. However, in practice it is not effective, especially in areas where there are not enough one bedroom houses for those living by themselves. More affordable housing is key which can be achieved through the liberalisation of planning laws argued Mark Littlewood.
