London MP's should not receive greater expenses just because of their location

Mark Littlewood appears on the Sunday Politics London

IEA Director General Mark Littlewood spoke on Sunday Politics regarding MPs expenses system. In particular, a collection of London MPs who are appealing to IPSA to increase their expenses due to what they claim is particularly high casework, higher staffing costs and for not having an allowance for hotel bookings for London

Mark argued that there are plenty of young capable workers accepting modest salaries to gain a foothold in the political spectrum. Secondly he accused the MP's involved of  special pleading, with those MPs living on the outskirts of london just have to accept commuting as many of the public do.
