Pension reform is desperately required

Professor Phillip Booth writes about the fiscal crisis and how curtailing the current pensions system by raising retirement age remains one of the few possible avenues of reprieve. Refering to a report by Research Fellow Gabriel Sahlgren, he repeats the need to move to a system more similar to that in Austrailia where there is a means-tested state pension.
