Private contracts within the NHS leads to innovation gains

Steve Davies appears on BBC Radio 5

IEA Education Director Steve Davies discussed the role of private firms within the NHS. He argued that there are innovation and efficiency gains to be made through using private firms. Steve said that privatising and contracting out certain healthcare services would lead to more healthcare provisions as they are better able at finding value within costly NHS services.
