The debt crisis and the prospect of a hung parliament

Mark Littlewood interviewed on BBC2's Newsnight

Mark Littlewood has been interviewed on BBC2's Newsnight as part of a feature on the dangers of a hung parliament in the context of the UK's fiscal crisis.

Given the desperate need for rapid cuts in public spending, the IEA's Director General argued that the Liberal Democrats, who may hold the balance of power, should set out the key policies they would demand if they were junior parties in any coalition. In addition, they should clarify the rules and protocols they would use in the decision making process.

Watch the interview here. The feature begins 16 minutes into the programme, with Mark Littlewood's segment at 17m 20s in.
