Philip Booth appears on the Daily Politics

Philip Booth appeared on the Daily Politics arguing that the government should not fund the arts. The government is very bad at picking commercial winners. To have commerically successful arts we should leave it those who are spending their own money rather than to bureaucracy. He went on to argue that DCMS should be closed down. Arts, culture and sport should be embedded in civil society, and as far away from government as possible.
