Zero-hours contracts are a step in the right direction

Ryan Bourne appears on BBC Radio Five Live

Head of Public Policy at the IEA, Ryan Bourne, features on BBC Five Live to discuss recent announcements that those receiving jobseeker's allowance will now have to accept certain zero-hours contracts. In the interview, Ryan argues that these jobs are an important part of the UK's labour market and can offer those that are unemployed an the opportunity to acquire those skills that allow them to find future long-term employment.
