Sir Regarding the 2,500 scientists who warn of climate disaster, by the time large numbers of people agree on something, the truth might have moved on. Just ask the 364 economists of 26 years ago who so infamously advised Margaret Thatcher. Fortunately for the country, she listened to the two sceptics, Alan Walters and Patrick Minford. In the long run, minority views often prevail.
