On the 27th of February the Institute of Economic Affairs and Free Enterprise Group hosted the first annual Growth Forum, which was widely covered in the media.
The Daily Mail [2], Guardian [3] and Independent on Sunday [4] all discussed the implications in the lead-up to the forum and the effect it might have on government policy.
The Daily Telegraph [5], FT [6] and Press Association [7] all quoted David Ruffley MP calling for the axing of the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills in order to fund tax cuts and to radically cut bureaucracy.
The Huffington Post [8], Spectator Blog [9] and the Daily Mail [10] discussed the event and the possible political effect.
