Steve Davies argued that there are tough decisions to be made to make the arithmetic work as there are high costs for pensioners that are going to increase over the next decade. The underlying question surrounding the care of the elderly is how much can you take from people of working age to give to the retired?
Steve Davies argued that if, as an elderly person, you have required financial assets, you should have to make some kind of contribution to your own care in order to meet the rising costs of elderly care in the UK.
