Christopher Snowdon, the IEA's Director of Lifestyle Economics appeared on BBC Radio Five Live to discuss the recent criticisms made towards supermarkets and their use of buy one get one free deals (bogof). Claims have been made that these types of promotional deals contribute to a large amount of food waste. Chris argues however, that with the cost of living being so high, supermarkets shouldn't be criticised for promotions such as these.
